How long have you been interested in Radio?
Errrrrm, that’s a good question, I have always loved music, my earliest memories of Radio are the days of The Radio 1 Roadshow, during the summer in the early 90’s, who remembers being in front of their radio at 11am weekdays for the Radio 1 Roadshow summer tour, or is that just me?! (in fact, I still have tapes of the Roadshow dating back to 1993 with Steve Wright!!)

What radio experience have you had?
Not much… actually, when I was at college, I got the college radio back on air; I was involved in Hospital Radio Swindon for about 2 years before I joined Swindon FM

How did you get involved in Swindon FM?
I had just returned from the US in July 2001 and was talking to someone at Hospital Radio, they mentioned that there was a RSL happening in Swindon, I had a look in the Evening Adver for the details and e-mailed Martin Dallaghan, we had a chat, he was keen to get me involved and I have been involved since then, and they still cant get rid of me!! (they have tried though!)

What do you think you bring to the station?
Talent, charisma, humour…seriously though, I bring with me a good(ish) knowledge of 90’s and current music, along with a bundle of computer skills to make sure that people dont mess things up (mentioning no names - Carl)

What sort of music do you like?
I am 80’s child, so it goes with out saying that I love 80’s music, though I prefer 90’s music and the current stuff, I can often be found singing lines from songs such as ‘DJ Sammy – Heaven’ or ‘Chesney Hawks – I am the one and only’ (what a contrast!)

Why?
It’s the music that I have grown up with, so I am bound to like it! :-)

What other interests do you have?
I love music, and will often be found walking round my house with cordless headphones on listening to all the latest music and classic songs from yesterday, I also spend a lot of time surfing the internet and looking after this website, if I am not there, you will either find me in the studio doing things or at Laser Quest!
